How it works

From the whole market to that one car.

From search profile to purchase. Six steps, repeated every day, for every car that fits your profile.

Search profile. You describe the car once: generation, variants, body, transmission, budget, countries. After that you never search again.

Discover. Spott reads every marketplace, in every language and currency, and picks out what fits your profile. Duplicates merged, noise filtered out.

Alerting. In your inbox within minutes of listing, before the rest of the market. With the market value right beside it.

Investigate. This one sits 6,5% below market value. Spott shows why: a targa adds, a Tiptronic subtracts, and the value is measured on 227 comparable cars.

Deal or no deal. Landed in the Netherlands it costs € 90.890 and sells for € 107.448. That is an 18% margin, and you know how far you can go.

Buy. Negotiated down to € 87.500, well under your ceiling. The margin rises to 22% and the car is off the market.

From search profile to purchase, day after day, for every 911 that comes up for sale in Europe.

Why Spott?

It started with one car: a 993 Turbo.

Spott grew out of my own search, and out of realising that traders struggle with exactly the same thing.

Live

The last 24 hours of Porsche 911s, on the map.

Every dot is a Porsche 911 that came up for sale on a marketplace somewhere in Europe since yesterday, with price changes and departures as they happened. This is the platform running, not a mock-up.

Product

One suite for the whole buying process, from spotting to trading.

Spott is not an off-the-shelf software package we sell. It is the engine a specialist uses to streamline finding, assessing and buying special cars, preferably in a strategic partnership in which Spott supplies the software and the partner knows the cars.

Spotting

Seeing what is for sale in Europe before the rest does.

  • A search profile per car: generation, variant, edition, body, transmission, budget, countries
  • The European market, followed every day across 37 countries
  • Duplicates merged across marketplaces: one car instead of five listings
  • Read from the text: variant, edition, options, colour, origin
  • An alert within minutes of listing, with quiet hours
  • Noise filtered out: rental, right-hand drive, replica, damage
Trading

Knowing what it is worth, what it costs here, and where to stop.

  • Spott value with a range and the number of comparable cars alongside it
  • The build-up visible: mileage, body, transmission, colour, seller, origin
  • Options with factory code and new price, from 3.542 codes
  • Editions with production numbers, so 1 of N instead of a feeling
  • Taxes per country and landed cost to your own market
  • The seller in context: type, location and public reviews
  • Timeline: what happened to the price, and where the car appeared
  • A four-page report, with an opening bid and a message in the seller’s language
The suite

The same routine, week after week, at volume.

  • Sorting and filtering on potential margin instead of asking price
  • Target market of your own choosing, so the margin in the country where you sell
  • Flagging, following and hiding cars
  • Everything stays tracked after the first look: price drops and relistings
  • Sharing a report with a client, a colleague or an appraiser
  • An assessment in minutes instead of hours, so more cars per week

This is where the difference is: lead time, coverage and repetition. More cars seen, assessed faster, fewer missed. That is the revenue.

Before you ask

What is Spott.app, exactly?

A platform that reads the European market for special cars, every day, in every language and currency. It recognises every car it finds, merges the same car across sources, puts a market value next to it and works out the landed cost into your own market. The result is one inbox with the cars that match your search profile, minutes after they are listed.

Who is behind Spott.app?

Spott.app is a product of Tulip & Co B.V. in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, founded by Peter Geurts and developed in-house with a small team of specialists. The catalogue, the valuation model and the identity layer across sources are our own.

Where does the data come from?

Spott works with cars that are publicly offered for sale in Europe. We do not publish ads and we do not sell data: every car in Spott points back to where it is offered, and buyer and seller deal with each other there. What Spott adds is a layer of its own: identification, value, landed cost and history.

How do I get access?

Spott is in a closed pilot. Access is by invitation, for a small number of selected partners who buy special cars professionally. If that is you, use the contact page and tell us what you buy and where. We read every message; we cannot promise a seat.

When does it go live?

It is live. The platform has been reading the European market every day for months; the inbox on this page is the real one. What is not public is access. The pilot is a market-validation phase with selected partners, and there is no date for a public launch.

Who is it for, and why only Porsche?

Professional traders, collectors, specialists and international dealer groups, from a single buyer to a trading house: people and organisations that buy repeatedly, internationally, and carry the risk themselves. Eyes on the whole market, decisions driven by data, quality buying at scale. Spott separates the wheat from the chaff, so that human expertise goes where it makes the difference: at the car, not in the search. The pilot runs on one vertical and one brand, cars and Porsche, because that is where the catalogue, the valuation and the tax layer go deepest. More brands follow once the model has proven itself.

Does Spott do more than find cars?

Because it reads the whole market every day, it also sees the market: what comes up, what sells, how fast, and where cars move between countries. In the pilot we use that to show partners how they compare with their market. Whether that becomes a product of its own, we decide together with them.

Will it open up to everyone later?

No. Spott stays a closed system. The advantage it gives, seeing a car minutes after it is listed with its value next to it, dilutes when everyone has it. Access remains limited and selective, also after the pilot.

What does it cost?

There is no price list. During the pilot the terms are agreed per partner and depend on what Spott delivers in practice; that is exactly what the pilot measures.
